Inject Bold Color Using Your Best Kitchen Backsplash!
The most noticeable feature is the color of this best kitchen backsplash. Here the designer's brief was to maximise light and space due to the small area given to the kitchen. The white cabinets and walls give a feeling of spaciousness, cleanliness and lightness. Use of glass in the rangehood and other appliances that are visible in the kitchen, ensures that the most is made of seeing the spaces. The rangehood features underneath task lighting that shines beautifully onto the crimson acrylic material. This is where the color was used to give a focal point to the kitchen, and to create some extra interest in what would otherwise be a rather bland color scheme. Unseen in this photo, the color stretches around the 'U' shaped kitchen and brings a warmth and contrast to the space. Using the space between the countertops and wall units / rangehood is one way to enhance the effect of color in a specific space that isn't too overpowering, yet enlivens the vision.
